Onboarding Screens

With the objective of walking the customer through the new Pay As You Go feature, we created an enthusiastic and playful onboarding screens, communicating the ease of the a best fare.
We used the pink from Trainline colours and
added gradient for depth.
It was then produced a barcode animation on first screen, swiping and rotating slightly up on the second screen and admitting a third and final screen focused on the value.
I worked on the design and animation for these from scratch to the very end, managed by my colleague and mentor Markus Burkardt, aka PAYG chief.

Reassurance

In order to hold on into customers that deleted the app once and decided to go back to it, Reassurance go through the greatest features the Trainline app has, with a quick onboarding explanation before getting into the main screen.
Onboarding screens are informative and the best way to engage the customers with a little fun twist - here it’s where we add animation.

Sustainability Dashboard

With the idea of showing the customer how much C02 they have saved by travelling by train, we created a design and animation that illustrated and enhanced the message.

Another recent features on the Trainline app is to include the ability to save customer’s regular journeys in the Favourites tab of the app, so customers can consult a personalised Departures board and track real-time information for a specific journey by pinning it to their home screen.
